Style Snapshot: Kimberly's Versatile Style

Tank: Rag & Bone | Shirt: Tommy Bahama | Jeans: J Brand | Shoes: Nordstrom BP. | Bag: Marc Jacobs | Sunglasses: Ray Ban | Watch: Marc Jacobs | Necklace: random boutique (similar at Forever 21) | Flash Tattoo: Flash Tat

This week I'm featuring my friend Kimberly for Style Snapshot! She was in my Rooted group this past Spring in Mariners College Group, and also goes to FIDM! I totally envy her style AND where she works (Free People!).

Q: Where do you get your style inspiration from?
A: I get my inspiration from so many different places, but the number one place would have to be my work [Free People]. We're constantly getting new merchandise in so it's easy for me to pick up a couple things after my shift is over.

Q: If you could describe your personal style in one word what would it be?
A: My personal style really depends on the mood or season so I'd have to say versatile.

Q: What's your go-to outfit?
A: My go-to outfit would have to be a pair of ripped boyfriend jeans, a tank, and my Converse.

Q: If you could steal any celebrity's closet, who's would it be?
A: Audrina Patridge 100%! I've been obsessed with her style ever since I saw her on The Hills

Q: If you could splurge on any piece of clothing or an accessory, what would it be?
A: It would have to be shoes! I always end up with a new pair of shoes that I probably don't need every time a new season starts.

Grayscale & A Pop of Red

Top: Pleione c/o Marshalls | Jeans: c/o Henry & Belle | Bag: Deux Lux c/o Marshalls | Shoes: Franco Sarto c/o Marshalls | Necklace: Nordstrom BP. | Bracelet: Forever 21

While the majority of the country is in Fall mode (and some places even getting snow?!), it's still in the 90s and unusually humid here in Orange County. Oh, how I long for chilly fall days when I can wear cardigans, scarves, and boots...

In the meantime, here's a little transitional look with some pieces that Marshalls sent me for my first Project Fab challenge! I'm absolutely loving the tie dye tee, which is a great because the the dye still makes it feel a little summery, but the gray and black is perfect for Fall. I've also been using this fringe backpack quite frequently for work to carry my journal, planner, bible, wallet, etc. It would also be perfect for school! But thank God, I'm not in school anymore ;)

Disclosure: I have received free products or value from Marshalls or the TJX Companies, Inc. in connection with my affiliation with Marshalls Project FAB.
